I can exclusively reveal that in July 2016 Morocco will host the first ice hockey African club cup tournament. So far it’s looking like there will be two teams from Morocco, two from Egypt and one each from Tunisia and Algeria. There was initially talk of South Africa and Kenya sending teams but in the end they decided not to this year. We’re hoping to make this an annual event.

Look out for the official press release with logo and more info in the coming week or so. I will be taking part in this tournament and can’t wait to go Morocco, the last time I went I was still a kid. I’ll also be releasing info on the Algerian club that will be taking part in this tournament, very soon.
