Exciting times are ahead for the Algeria National Ice Hockey Team as we prepare to compete in the 2024 Amerigol LATAM Cup, taking place in Miami. This prestigious tournament is another significant step in our journey to elevate Algerian ice hockey on the international stage.
Tournament Schedule We have a thrilling lineup of games scheduled:
- August 21: Algeria vs. Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
- August 22: Algeria vs. Egypt 🇪🇬
- August 23: Algeria vs. Venezuela 🇻🇪

A Proud History
We enter this tournament with a wave of momentum, having recently clinched victory at the Dream Nations Cup in New Jersey in April 2024. This triumph marked our first tournament win in the USA, setting a high standard for our performance and fueling our aspirations for the upcoming competition in Miami.
Rivalry Renewed
One of the most anticipated matches will be against Egypt, a team we have a storied history with. We last faced Egypt at the Arab Cup in Kuwait in 2023, where we emerged victorious. This upcoming match promises to be an intense and exciting encounter as both teams look to assert their dominance.
