I know, again it’s been a while since I posted on my website, so the next few posts will be a catch up on some of the highlights that have happened in the last few months.

So by far the biggest news, on September 2019 Algeria became official members of the International Ice Hockey Federation. This is probably the biggest moment in Algerian hockey history so far. It’s something we’ve worked hard for and for so many years.

Of course we’d like to thank the IIHF, and all the IIHF member nations for voting us in, and I’d personally like to thank UAE for their assistance in completing the paperwork needed.

2019 marks a new era for Algerian hockey. I have already began talks with other member nations for collaborations, exhibition games and potential tournaments.
