After long discussion with the sports ministry, the director of sport for Setif and directors of Park Mall Setif, it has been agreed to base Algeria’s first ever ice hockey school in Park Mall, in the city of Setif. Setif is quite a fitting city to have ice hockey, in winter it’s very cold and often snows a lot. It’s a small rink but fine for kids to start playing, the ice quality is pretty, I found it to be similar quality to rinks in the UK.
