For those who don’t know what The Hockey News is, it’s the most famous ice hockey publication in the world. As a teenager every fortnight I’d take a trip into central London to a sports book store to pick up a copy. So to my amazement, in 2008 prior to the Arab Cup, I was contacted by The Hockey News to do a feature on myself and the Arab Cup. The June 10 2008 edition turned up on my doorstep and my article was a full page, in between the likes of Sidney Crosby, the NHL Stanley Cup finals and the 2008 NHL draft prospects. Still to this day, one of my proudest moments.
